INSPIRATION
2026 is the Year of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac. Lately, I’ve noticed a defiant sense of hope gathering around the upcoming shift from the 2025 Year of the Snake to the 2026 Year of the Horse. Maybe it’s the promise of movement, strength, momentum — a feeling of being carried forward rather than coiled inward. Suddenly - for me - horses represent hope. I'm sure that's why I’ve found myself painting horses over and over again lately.
