FRAME & PAPER FAQ
IS THE FRAME COVER GLASS or ACRYLIC?
The frame cover is ACRYLITE® Clear Acrylic. It provides the clarity of traditional glass at roughly half the weight, with greater impact resistance and added UV protection to help protect your print over time. Acrylic is commonly preferred for larger works and in high-traffic areas due to its durability and safety.
ARE THE PRINTS ARCHIVAL?
Yes.
The prints are created using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton paper, both chosen for longevity and color stability when displayed under normal conditions.
WHAT IS THE PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING TIME?
Prints are typically produced within 3–5 business days. Shipping time ranges from 1–5 business days, with the fastest delivery to the East Coast.
All prints are made to order, and frames are custom-crafted to fit each piece
WHAT TYPE OF PAPER IS USED FOR THE PRINTS?
Each print is a museum-quality giclée print produced on a luxurious, semi-smooth matte paper made from 100% refined cotton fiber. The paper has a soft, substantial feel and is selected for its durability and archival properties.
Framed prints are professionally dry mounted to a sturdy foam-core backing to ensure a smooth presentation and long-term stability within the frame.
CAN I ORDER AN UNFRAMED PRINT IN LARGER SIZES?
Unframed prints are currently available up to 32" × 42".
Larger sizes require mounting during the finishing process in order to ensure precise trimming and a clean edge. For this reason, prints over 32" × 42" are offered framed only.
DO YOU OFFER INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING?
At this time, framed prints are available exclusively within the United States. A curated selection of unframed giclée prints, fulfilled by a printing partner with locations in Europe and the UK, can be shipped internationally. Shop The International Collection here.
CAN I ORDER THE DURHAM FRAME IN LARGER SIZES?
The Durham frame is available up to 32" × 42". This size range allows the frame to maintain its durability.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE STANDARD GICLEE PRINTS AND THE INTERNATIONAL COLLECTION?
The primary difference is where the prints are produced and fulfilled.
Standard giclée prints are produced in the United States using archival pigment inks on luxurious, semi-smooth matte paper made from refined 100% cotton fiber. These are available both framed or unframed.
The International Collection (available unframed only) is printed in the UK and Europe through a trusted fine art print partner. These prints are produced on a slightly thicker and more textured, acid-free archival cotton giclée paper (310 gsm) by Ilford.
Both options are museum-quality and created to ensure exceptional color accuracy and longevity.
