Museum quality giclée print crafted with archival pigment inks on luxurious semi-smooth matte paper composed of refined 100% cotton fiber. Printed from highly detailed scans which capture the expressive textures and vibrant hues of Anne-Louise Ewen's original oil painting.
INSPIRATION
When I was coming of age in South Louisiana, roaming the streets of the New Orleans French Quarter was a rite of passage for a young bohemian. It still holds a lot of magic for me. This street scene (drawn in pencil over the bright colorful clashing abstraction) depicts the old Tujague's Restaurant on Decatur Street (where my California grandparents dined after a carriage ride during their honeymoon so long ago).
