About this series:

Aquarius, the water bearer. Astrological sign born January 20th through February 18th. Typically represented by an ancient vessel and waves of water or electricity.

To create these original mixed media works, artist Anne-Louise Ewen first hand painted an improvised amphora design onto a silk screen and used it to print the design in a way that rendered each work uniquely textured on watercolor paper or matte board which she then used as the basis for an original, one of a kind painting.
