I need to live with awe and wonder to be happy.  The objects and characters represented in these works sauntered out of my psyche. They are heroic to me: the flowers and still-lifes; ...the tractors, tugboats, and sailboats ( intertwined in my mind from childhood with positive masculine energy) along with the "heroes" on horses, in their boots, confidently and decently arriving to save the day...
